Grade 12 offers higher strength than commercially pure grades while maintaining excellent weldability and superior corrosion resistance, particularly in reducing environments. Conforms to ASTM B265 Grade 12 / ASME SB265.
Titanium Grade 12 (UNS R53400) is selected for applications requiring better corrosion resistance than Grade 2 in reducing acids, combined with good weldability and moderate strength. It is widely used in chemical processing, desalination and marine applications.
