Ganpat Metal manufactures and supplies Titanium Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) Sheets — the Extra Low Interstitial (ELI) version of Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V). Grade 23 has tighter controls on oxygen, nitrogen, carbon and iron content, resulting in superior fracture toughness, ductility and fatigue resistance compared to Grade 5. Conforms to ASTM B265 Grade 23 / ASME SB265.
Titanium Grade 23 (UNS R56407) is the preferred medical-grade titanium alloy for surgical implants, prosthetics and biomedical devices. It is also used in cryogenic applications and aerospace structures where superior fracture toughness is critical.
