Hastelloy C276 offers universal resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking and oxidizing atmospheres up to 1040°C. Hastelloy C22 provides even higher resistance to oxidizing acid media (nitric, ferric and cupric ions) due to 22% chromium. Hastelloy B2 possesses extraordinary resistance to pure reducing hydrochloric acid across all concentrations and boiling temperatures.
Supplied in solution heat-treated and quenched condition from 6 mm to 300 mm diameter, our Hastelloy round bars are widely used in chemical reactor agitator shafts, marine pump shafts, valve trims, and pharmaceutical autoclaves.
